• If you’re interested to try Craniosacral Therapy you can ask to incorporate 10 minutes at the end of your RMT treatment

Leah Mayer
(She/Her/Hers) RMT

Leah grew up in the Fraser Valley where she attended CDI College in South Surrey, becoming an RMT in 2019. She started by running private practice out of a gym, working with a spa and going mobile to all corners of Vancouver (including providing treatment to Vancouver Canucks teammates & international rugby players). Her range of skill developed through the varieties of body types and ailments, including post-operative care to torn tendons and ligaments, to body builders looking to create space for more gains.

Eventually Leah landed at Fort Langley Massage Therapy to build a steady clientele and worked alongside fellow RMT’s, craniosacral therapists, physiotherapists, acupuncturists and energy healers. The team was amazing and after two years, when Covid hit, Leah embarked on her journey to Tofino, to catch waves and live alongside the ocean.

Working with RMT Tofino for over 2 years was an absolute pleasure, and when the time came to start her own practice, Leah established ‘Wellness with Leah’ to individualize and expand her practice, offering craniosacral therapy alongside RMT service.

Further trainings Leah has taken include: Intro to pranic healing, intro to yoga therapy, yoga teacher training 200hr, restorative yoga training, yin yoga training, craniosacral therapy level 1, enlightened bodyworker course, deep tissue therapy workshop for RMT’s and multiple workshops through coastal bliss yoga incorporating cultural awareness and Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation specific history.

Leah is grateful to be now situated with Arbutus Health Centre and Sacred Stone Spa within Tla-o-qui-aht territory, ever-expanding her knowledge and awareness of the people and history that create such beautiful lands to work and play on.
